Creating a pipeline of innovation and technological capabilities, as well as a business culture to support the change, is an increasing priority for the organisation.

We continuously track our engagement levels and perform comprehensive engagement surveys every two years, with shorter pulse surveys in between, to assist us improve on critical areas of our culture and maintain an actively engaged workforce. We also track voluntary turnover and the reasons people depart in order to continually adjust and improve our strategy.



Engaging with our people

We strive for the highest levels of participation in Golden Mine Projects. We undertake detailed employee engagement surveys every two years and are glad to state that we consistently receive 60% or higher response rates across all levels of employees. We assess a variety of elements, including overall engagement levels, the extent to which our values are lived, and other factors based on the business's focus and strategic priority areas. These elements are listed below:

The graph below depicts the engagement results from our 2021 employee engagement survey, with the majority of criteria obtaining a positive rating of more than 70%. The Company will concentrate its efforts on four factors that garnered the lowest scores. The cumulative Values Index and Engagement Index both scored above 70%.
