GOLDEN MINE PROJECTS GROUP    

Vacation, maternity and paternity leave, sick leave, medical support, pensions, life insurance, and healthcare services are common perks, however they vary by area.

Part-time employees do not receive pensions, healthcare, extended leave, other Group "life benefits" because they work full-time. Part-time workers are also ineligible for annual bonuses, although full-time workers are.

     
AUSTRALIA    

Full-time and part-time permanent employees in Australia are entitled to annual raises, redundancy, pension, health care allowance, Group 'life benefits,' pay continuation, and annual or quarterly production bonuses/benefits, with part-timers having a pro rata entitlement. Casual and most fixed-term employees do not receive annual or quarterly production bonuses, annual raises, or redundancy benefits. Casual employees are also ineligible for health benefits.

   

Employees in Australia have the option of joining any Superannuation Fund (pension fund) of their choice. The default fund for Golden Mine Projects is Plum. Other common employee benefits in Australia include: private health insurance, loyalty (long service) awards, life insurance, salary continuation insurance, employee referral reward programme, professional subscriptions, educational assistance, annual/carers leave, long service leave, paid parental and partner leave, purchase annual leave.

AMERICAS    

Permanent employees who receive an annual raise, an annual bonus, and quarterly production bonuses, a health care allowance, a scholarship, life insurance, and a Flex Benefit Programme: Flex Cash (e.g. Salary Advance, Profits Advance, and Annual Integral Remuneration for officials), Flex Benefit (e.g. GF Treasures), Flex Time (e.g. Summer Friday), and Flex Training (e.g. High Performance Centre).

   

Employees in higher-risk positions receive two additional benefits:

1. Increase in employee contributions to retirement plans

2. Free retirement plan for mining and metallurgical positions

SOUTH AFRICA    

Vacation, maternity and paternity leave, sick leave, medical support, pensions (in South Africa, our employees rely on three main pension funds), and life insurance are common benefits, as are annual bonuses/production bonuses based on grade and long-term incentive schemes based on grade and eligibility.

     
WEST AFRICA    

Benefits in West Africa include a provident fund, a social security fund, health care and healthcare for dependents, an annual bonus, a retention bonus, long-term incentives, long service awards, business accommodation or housing allowance, and annual and educational support.These benefits are not available to part-time employees.
